The Renault Espace has a good choice of engines with a 2.2 dCi and 2.0T which are swift and overtake with ease and cruise well. The 2.2 dCi is the best choice and better rated than V6 plants which have 180/244bhp options.

The new Renault Espace has all the MPV traits inside like seats that fold and remove, loads of clever storage bins and carries seven people.The ride thanks to the suspension is comfortable and quiet inside. Security includes shielded deadlocks, electrically assisted de-clutching steering lock, card entry system and marked parts which help with insurance.

Service intervals are now 18,000 miles and 12,000 miles on the V6, mechanical three years and bodywork 12 years.
